Don't we go through this discussion in a meek way time and again and can do nothing about it. Even if a Muslim judge or president or minister wants to something about it, no uniform code can be brought. Why should the Hindus cry about it. They gave 1/3 rd of their ancestral land willingly to implement 100% Islamic law and carved Pakistan where they have no rights. The Hindus were generous or foolish enough to call themselves secular, yet retain Islamic law to the then Muslim majority. After all Jinnah did not ask these Hindus not to have a land of their own. On the contrary he said call the rest of the land Hindu and implement uniform code. The Muslims at the time division had no objection. The Hindus did not care or want it then and crushed and cursed any one who suggested it. Now why are they calling it foul. Vijaya Kumar
