India , Pakistan and the American effect
by RAJEEV on Mar 26, 2005 06:54 AM

Seeing the friendly environment between india and pakistan., specially cricket matches, visit of musharaf family, and proposed visit of musharaf himself and the opening up of bus routes., I had 100% expected that America is going to augment supply of arms and F16.,s to Pakistan within a fortnight.

You cannot expect anything else at this time. See, It is America's interest that India and Pakistan remains enemies for ever. Their business interest depends on this. If India becomes more friendly with India.... Pakistan can shift at least 50% of their imports from India. A friendly environment means lessened military spending. This all goes againt America's Interest. America has to sell F16,s ..to...Baby napkins to Pakistan at any cost. They can go to any extend to keep this trade going.
