denial of visa
by Kapil on Mar 18, 2005 06:59 PM

Yes, denial of visa to Mr. Modi is an issue , I am saying this not because I am a political supporter of Mr. Modi, I do say that in Gujarat riots, the role of his government was condemnable and the death of minorities in these riots have put our nation to shame everywhere, as is eveident from the deinal of visa to Mr. Modi but US does not have the right to decide whether Mr. Modi was the culprit for those riots, I think for US, the identity of him as an elected CM should have provided sufficient ground to grant him a Visa. Moreover, if BJP and so called swadeshi leaders are so hurt by this incident, they should take an oath that they will not visit US till Mr. Bush publicly apologises for this act. I am sure none of them have the audacity to do this, that is why people say, "aaj ki raajniti main kewal raaj reh gaya hai, niti khatam ho gayi hai".
