What is the problem supporting King
by Piyush Ranjan on Mar 09, 2005 12:30 PM

I feel Indian government is for India and Indian people. They should look for what is good for India. Instead of being moral instructors for the world, we should look for our interests. Why should we care about democracy in Nepal. It will not be good for India if Maoist become powerful in Nepal.
All other countries pursue their interest above moral. West and US support Arab countries and Pakistan governments.
If government feel so morally inclined towards democracy, why is holding talks with Pakistan. It should ask Mushraf to step down.
Moreover, It is also morally wrong to support Mushraf, Arab countries and condemn the Nepal King.
