Isn't it irnoical that India seems to try so hard to be nice to her neighbors but is vehemently disliked and dis-respected by everyone around? The king of a puny country like Nepal that depends so much on India simply ignores India's "protests" after he usurps power. Bangladesh, a country that owes its independence to India, allows hundreds of camps that train terrorists to operate freely and sends in their rangers who kill our BSF jawans and return to their borders with impunity while the Indian govt registers a strong "protest" ofcourse. Pakistan, who was comprehesively defeated in the 1971 war and cannot even come close in terms of economic strength thinks of itself as our equal. Bhutan, a country almost the size of Aruchal Pradesh, until not so long ago was a haven for terrorists who operated on Indian soil. Would anyone dare do this to the US or for that matter to China? All this talk about peace and friendship is nice but, we should always talk from a position of strength and not like beggars. Its simply not enough to keep harping about being the next emerging super-power. India has to have the swagger of a super-power. Who will respect us if can't handle our own backyard?
