I agree with your analogy of Mahabharata and Ramayana in terms of relations between India and Pakistan. Let me further add that there were no winners in Mahabharata war or Ramayana war and In Indian history Pakistan always existed in form of Kaurava or Gandhara or some other form. All main wars in the subcontinents were faught at one place Panipat or Kurkshetra.
Let us forget this 3000 years of oddesey and accept Pakistan as it is. For sake of masses in both countries. Advani, Bajpayee and others may be thinking on those lines.
