Though Advani has moved away from his hard-line hindutva Image, I believe it is in the larger interest of nation.
When Musharaf came to India, he called upon Vajpeyee and Just before the Iran -- Pak --India pipe line project moves ahead, Advani visited pakistan.
The statement is nothing but a polical guarantee to pakistan that whoever comes in power in India, the project will go on.
Don't be surprised if you hear similar bhai-chara statements from all major political parties in pakistan.
