I was caught in Pune rains. Not Mumbai.I am from South and not used to such heavy rains. Two rivers of Pune have overflown and most of the bridges under water and some homes near river beds washed away! Atleast our communication lines were not cut as that of Mumbai people. From Haveli Taluka to reach Pune city it took more than 4 hours yesterday!
My friend in Mumbai.No news from her still.Trying to contact her in all means possible.But no use!Her parents from South call me to know her status but I have no answers.I finally got to know she slept in the office through out the night.No news as to whether she reached home or not.
Some of my relatives caught in a train to Mumbai stand at a station for past one day and donot know when the train will start for Mumbai.
I pray God for all people who are affected by Mumbai rains.
