What goes around, comes around
by Jayanth Chennamangalam on Jan 24, 2005 08:23 PM

The Indian people, be it Hindus or Muslims, have no right to raise their voice against Benny Hinn. If we tolerate, and worse, encourage the likes of the so-called Satya Sai Baba and Mata Amritanandamayi, then it is nothing but hypocrisy that Benny Hinn is not tolerated. All three belong to the class the author likes to call 'quacks'. I do not see any difference. And I don't think any reasonable man will. It's the Indian people's own intellectual inferiority that has caused all this trouble. We might be educated, and reasonable in all other things, but when it comes to spirituality, we are all birds of the same feather. We flock to god men to seek their blessings. I wonder why people tend to forget that we are living in the twenty-first century; it's the era about which we used to read science fictions about! Grow up, country men! Get a life!
