Response to ''Cry, my beloved India''

Dear Francois Gautier,

Your concern for the Hindu privileges in India is absurd and vague. All Indians are from this soil and religion is practiced without ill feelings.

Jesus was born a Jew, lived a Jew and died a Jew and he was called the Christ (king of the Jews). How does that make a difference to Christians, I think religion is individual faith and not a game of politics as religion comes to some by birth and someone lost embrace it to find a way to God, the only totally perfect one.

India is a country with the largest secular democracy of the world, with a tested constitution and judiciary. Any one person does not run this country, but all contribute to its consolidation and growth.

If Mr. Benny Hinn is a Fake therapeutic service provider, he is cheating his own spiritual purpose in the name of his God. Moreover, if he is being selfish for some reason then as per the Hindu scriptures his act is not valid for salvation or God realisation. The Hindu scriptures also say that there are no accidents in the cosmic world.

Yes, Hindus are a majority in India but then you must also study the Hindu scriptures to know more of Hinduism. Similarly, read the Koran, Granth Saheb to know more of the Muslims and Sikhs.

Rathin
