Our way of proceeding is to wipe every tear from every eye. We wish ourselves and our leaders a long and healthy life in the service of humanity. It is true that our heads of spiritual movements possess enormous resources. They need to be encouraged to participate in improving the quality of life of our people. They could invest more in infrastructure like safe drinking water, medical facilities, sanitation and nutrition. Historians tell us that just like our sacred scriptures of Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism and Islam, the Bible too is Asian in origin. The founder of christianity they say was born in an Asian village of Asian parents who practiced carpentary for their livelihood. Historical accounts show how the westerners have been exploiting and misusing Christ and the Bible for their own selfish ends. Colonialism, the Divide and Rule Policy, looting of resources, dismantling local societies and economies, defining and redefining the natives have been some of the scars left in South America, Africa, Asia and in the lands of the aboriginals world wide. Annual letters from their overseas staff and collaborators to parent organizations and home governments are full of such mischief.
