The ideas presented in the article may seem far-fetched at first but they are not an impossibility.
There is nothing much one can do. Given the largely illiterate voting population in India, coupled with the fact the President wields no (REAL) power, all we can do is read, agree, shake our heads in disgust and (for those who believe - pray).
