Time to Change amendments
by Suresh on Dec 27, 2005 05:45 PM

Its a high time to reconsider the reservation policies in indian constitution. Years ago since the BC,OBC,SC,ST where considered as backward Dr.Ambedkar put reservations into constitution, but in todays india BC/SC/ST/OBC are given the highest position in the society. They are given free education, food, and jobs. Irrespective of the person is willing to study/work he is given seat in college/job in government institution.

Its high time to consider the "free things" based on the skills he or she have, instead of giving it for every one.

As our author said politicians promise or do the "reservations" or so called "Free things" for vote. Politicians should do things which benefit all people but not only a group of people.

If this is the kind of progress, tomorrow, there will be "Free things" in IT and BPO industries also, which will gradually move the IT and BPO industries out of india.

Apeal to all Politicians "Think the future".

Dr.Ambedkar did the proper thing, but whoever came later screwed up the constitution.

Learn good things from other countries. I guess no where in the world there are "reservations"
