This is true IITs are good at undergraduate level. one of the reason is that ignorance of graduate students by IIT faculty itself. most of the IIT undergrades dont want to study in IIT itself for higher study, most of the students at garduate level come from other colleges and IIT professors presume that their standard is low, so treat differently and teaches comparativly of low standard in comparison to undergrades. if IIT try to maintain same standard at graduate level as that of undergraduate level, it will certainly help to boost higher studies in IIT>
