Demolitions in Delhi
by mahavir prashadsharma on Feb 03, 2006 10:02 PM

NOW LAL DORA: Lal dora was marked in 1908. And thereafter extended in few villages. It was meant for the villagers who cultivated their land/lived there in village. Outside lal dora all land is agriculture land (See it from the point of view of legality, all properties constructed [ see previous post to know how these were constructed] outside lal dora are/were unauthorised. they were meant for agricultural use only except those acquired by DDA)..Now, imagine about people living in lal dora -- Will they go 10-20 KM for buying their daily use items to DDA shops.Do villagers do not require a commercial space. Are they Dogs??? No No NO . Society needs commercial centres within residential centres. ) Why DDA carves out commercial plots in residential colonies, although much less then required). Then why all these worry for laldora commercial activities. You tell them about the problem like parking etc. they will solve it. Otherwise hang the govt officials responsible for it. OR make a policy that is practicably feasible.
