I quite liked Raj Thackeray's decision to quit the Sena. He has, to the chagrin of many a Sena loyalist, been a bulwark to the party much in the manner of his uncle who founded it. It's a shame, however that Bal Thackeray chose to annoint his son Uddhav, a photographer by profession, as the chief of the party thereby pushing Raj into the silouhette. Raj had to revolt - it was just a matter of time - that he did not joing any other political party like many a Sena deserter, speaks of his integrity and sincerity towards the Sena even after severing ties.
