Bengal, Ganguly & elections

Mr Shenoy, your article is much about bengali bashing (although you tried to draw a balance by sympathising the partition), to some extent something about commie-bashing (which I dont care) but has nothing to do Ganguly, why the title is so confusing? What is the relation between Ganguly, or, to find out if there is any current Bengali hero alive, or not, and the politics of Bengal? There is no relation at all. I think the only thing you are trying to establish, as many of my other non-bengali friends did many times to me is, bengalis are a bunch of fools, because they vote for communists. I am sorry to say that this article and your observations are utterly shallow, and do not possess any intellectual value. Your mention of Tagore and JC Bose as Bengali Heroes show that you wrote this article very casually, something like filling up the vacant pages, or may be under the influence of alcohol!!
