There cannot be smoke without fire
by A.H. Venkatachalam on Dec 05, 2005 02:57 AM

For RS Pathak, I think it will be only a case of post mortem. People have approximately as many facts as he may possess and their verdict already may be 'Guilty' for those who have been accused and for those who are being desperately protected by Dr.MM Singh even if the proceedings are dropped by the one man Committee as it normally happens. Dr.MM Singh will be judged by the people and not by the BJP or by Sonia Gandhi. People already feel that there is something 'fishy' and that there cannot be smoke without fire. Nowadays even uneducated and illiterate people are well informed by the media. And it will not easy to fool them.
