The Sarabjit Singh issue has created a lot of hype because it has got medial attention. The issue of innocent Indians (including PoWs) languishing in Pakistan jails is an age-old one. Unfortunately no concerted effort has been made by any of the Indian governments who have been too busy with media grabbing issues such as running buses. The case of Lt.Tambe (and many others) who have disappeared without trace is a heart-wrenching one. Any bridge-building exercise with Pakistan should have this issue at the top of the agenda.
