In case you didn't know, the Malaysian population is ethnically broken up in the following way:
60% Malays
30% Chinese
10% Indians (these are originally tamilians who were brought in as bonded workers in the late 19th century)
Judging by his features, he IS of chinese origin. Malays have darker skin and their eyes are not as thin as that of chinese.
