Sir, I compliment you on trying to deal with the issue of terrorism holistically. While I agree that all the root causes of this global problem need to be looked into,I have my strong doubts if we as nation are capable of honestly and whole heartedly dealing with this issue. You rightly mentioned that many of our policies are divisive in nature and tend to appease certain ( Politically rewarding )communities. Also we as a nation excel in taking half-hearted measures, making cosmetic changes and delivering ceremonial lectures on communal harmony.I often wonder if it is humanly possible to change things for the better in a Country like India, where a vey ordinary political class supported by an ever increasing class of pseudo nationalists(Anti-social and inhuman to the core)has a vice like grip over the remaining lot. Sir while genuine, shrewd and foresighted efforts are requird to deal with the ever increasing threat of terrorism,we as a nation of dangerous and conflicting diversities are worse off in dealing with such a problem.I have no doubt in my mind that till the time we don't work towards preventing disasters, mishaps & losses, our worst fears will only come true. Rajesh.
