Persia - One of the world's oldest civilisation

Persia is one of the world's most ancient civilisations. I live in Pune, which has a sizeable Persian student population. I find them very lively, friendly,and don't really pose a threat to anyone. They have a mind of their own, don't bow down to anybody and are proud of their identity! Why not!!
I guess it's high time that the U.S leaves Iran to herself and actually goes after the real threats, Arab nations like Saudi Arabia, Iraq etc and Pakistan, ironically U.S allies. Persia and India have always been friends and have the greatest civilisations in Asia- So there is a need to work together with Iran in world matters
