The Old Rented building collapses and landlord becomes the villan.For God'Sake when the government and the tennants in particular be responsible . The rents are so low in these old buildings not enough for Decent Lunch for One Person. The Policy of appeasement to Tennants is absolutely not correct. Then there is MHADA who were snatching the properties of Land-Lords and converting into Societies.
It is not constitutionally correct to snatch the property.The case is now in supreme court.
Rent Act has to be removed and rents should be as per market value if tennats expect repairs and safety of buiding. Enough of pampering to tennants
