Goldilocks Sivaswamy

"Today's rulers <insert whine here>"
I always hear these repeated laments about "today's rulers" -- if you think you can do better, then run for office yourself, SS. I'm really bored to death of this over-worn plaintiveness on "rulers". The only reason to use such a word is because one wants detach oneself from responsibility of public office, implicitly wallowing in complacency. The Lord Helps Those Who Help Themselves. When the Going Gets Tough, the Tough Get Going. They don't sit there whining endlessly about "today's rulers". Your fickle Goldilocks mentality will never be satisfied.
