I am forced to tell that we mumbaikers are very attached to plastic/polythene bags. Thats why every second person on the road is seen carring one. We are all so much attached to these bags that not one of us has been successful in stopping the usage of these. Ultimately all this goes out into the open and turn our city into a garbage dump. Separating the dry and wet garbage system has been failed. No one wants to do all that , instead people like to put the biodegradable waste into polythene bags and throw it into the dump. Whats fun one gets in doing all this? Atlast everything gets collected into the drainage systems and chokes the water passages, thus contributing to the floodings. So instead of just blaming the govt first we must see what harm we people are doing to the city we love so much. This is the time to become wise now , or the nature will take a greater revange on the city next time , this time it was only a dose.
