Where are the PETA & SPCA people???
by Ashutosh on Aug 03, 2005 06:21 PM

Everyone of us must have seen the snaps of animal corpses around Mumbai area. Those were one of the most touching photos appeared in the news papers.
Animals cant even call for help like we do. Also when humans are so much depend on them for milk, meat, the special care should be taken during such incidences.
But what happened here was very selfish & dent on Humanity. The buffalo owners, who usually keep buffalos tied to the pole, leave them like that only resulting in a death of all the buffalos(and other animals too). It was a real cruel act. These people might not got time to untie the animals...but when did they realise that the things are getting out of control, they should have untie the animals so less number of animals would have died...I mean those animals would be of their own.
But the most disturbing thing is, for over 5-6 days, there is no protest or any such thing from PETA/SPCA. Otherwise for some silly things these people protest eg. Circus, Filming of animal for an Ad etc. Here they should come down heavily on Buffalo owners & force Govt to punish them. But such biased behaviour has resulted in loss trust, support & sympathy to them. The damage has been done.
