Mumbai rains --- everything is not lost
by sumandebray on Aug 04, 2005 12:12 PM

Its interesting to watch people talking about reforms and taking blames upon themselves. I never had been to Mumbai... I have passed through the city while traveling from the Domestic to the International Terminal. I do not know much about this great city. But it definitely makes me proud when someone talks about her. I am partial about Kolkata though, and that my pride. But the point is that both the cities are burdened with population and we are not being able to do much about it. I believe everyone has his right to pursue the dreams. So did our ancestors; some 100 years back and some more recently. How can you stop construction? Maybe I have a place of my own but you might be in need of one! But we definitely need to upgrade the Infrastructure and that too with the limited resources. Mind you, we are not generous Taxpayers. But what is the point in blaming the politicians, does anyone even expect anything out of them- I guess not. They will keep scratching the wound so that it still pains and they can use that to their advantage. Lets not allow them to do that.
Its the Think-tank behind them who needs to have a vision and they have it. They are the bureaucrats. So lets all
