The solution lies in having a committee formed by able minded, intellegent, honest citizens, who have the welfare of the city, both people and environment, at heart and are not prone to corruption or corrupting, to oversee the working of our efficiently inefficient BMC, Traffic Dept, and all other such Governmental agencies, to make them transparent and accountable for the work they are supposed to be doing, without having to resort to bribes to get anyting done, and to ensure that the taxpayer's money is being utilized in a proper and effective way, as it is meant to be, and not sidelined to fill certain pockets. Teach these agencies to clean up their act and to clean up and keep the city clean on a daily basis, instead of shifting the blame on drains, rains and what have you, and the intensity of future flooding or any other calamity will be greatly reduced. The present tendency of Promises Are Made To Be Broken, instead of Kept, just to get their vote bank, is also a big problem. God save us from these people!
