I found an interesting article in the Asian age which all should read. Apparently Zahira denied she filed an affidavit before the Godhra commission and was shown her signatures which she acknowledges as hers. Truth will prevail no doubt about that...
Ahmedabad, May 4: The prime witness in the best bakery case, Ms Zahira Sheikh, on Wednesday denied that she had filed any affidavit before the godhra commission, but acknowledged the signatures on the affidavit dated may 20, 2002 as hers. Ms Sheikh, who appeared before the nanavati-shah Commission, was shown a copy of the affidavit with her name.
