indicisive leaders lack dynamism as well
by ashish sinha on Apr 23, 2005 04:19 AM

Apart from being the ill-treated housewife, the indian leaders are lethargic and argely indecisive.
For instance, when the Indian parliament was attacked few years back, our home minister, prime-minister et al did a lot of pakistan bashing and then ordered the troops to be ready for war only to withdraw them later.

What should have been done is, instead of hopping the media glare they should have held a meeting with the three army chiefs and launched surgical strikes on terrorist camps in POK without making any unnecessary hype about it.

We need some body like Late Lal Bahadur Shashtri to teach pakistan a lesson. God knows when will our politicians become agile and confident enough to make tough decisions.
