Geelani slams joint statement
by Chaganbhai on Apr 19, 2005 09:24 AM

Why are Indians so soft with political parties with religious and fanatical agendas, terrorists like Naxalites, Syed Ali Shah Geelani, Mirwaiz Umer Farooq, chairman of the All Party Hurriyat Conference? Indians should protect and defend citizens who respect the rule of the land give them ample and numerous opportunities to develop. With anti-social and anti-national elements like Syed Ali Shah Geelani, Mirwaiz Umer Farooq, people of underworld, etc., they should be ruthlessly crushed or should be sent to jail and made to undergo hard labour. Would they have created a shindig if they were in China? I wonder. For India the issue at stake should be how to get back Azad Kashmir which is presently under Pakistani control. When talking with Pakistan, Pakistan needs India's friendship more than the other way around. What has Pakistan to offer to India - films, pharmaceutical products, textiles, software, engineering goods, etc.? Probably, some curio items made from the onyx stones that are found in plenty in Pakistan and sports goods. The Government of India should tackle these Hurriyat parties on an expeditious basis without laxity.
