First of all, I am proud at this moment, being an INDIAN. I wish all the Indians a happy & peaceful celebration of freedom.
In my experience, I feel the provision of education for the rural poor, mainaining the national integrity despite the various religious hiccups, connecting all parts of nation through structured transportation, enabling individuals be self-sustaioned economically (despite the negligible amount of scarcity), and witnessing India's growth at par with the grown up nations are the major achievements. I strongly believe these achievements are the respectable milestones in India's history.
But then, the filthy political stunts, corruption induced by politicians' selfishness, inappropriate facilities to the rural population (though it is 78%) and uncontrolled population (Why don't the country's judicial system implement a uniform civil code our people) to be stopped and rectivication measures to be initiated. Containing 76% of our population as youth, As Dr. Abdul kam said, we can do miracles in this world if we have a proper direction with plan and dedication. To achieve that, we need to punish and
