This airport is nothing to be so proud off atleast for now....i landed on the 24th and this is what i saw - 1. Airway bridge not working properly - it took 30 minutes to get off the plane 2. luggage delayed (announced with a very smiling face) by 25 minutes due to some problem. 3. The entire airport area looks unfinished. 4. The taxi drive to Kamanahalli (40km) took about 1hour 35 minutes. So i landed at 1715 and reached home at 1945 on a saturday. cant imagine about people staying at sarjapur/bannerghatta etc what will happen...(cost of taxi to kamanahalli 600rs )
I seriously am all for change. For example the Hyderabad airport though its far from the city, its finished and well facilitated.
Something tells me a lot of businesses will plan to relocate to Hyderabad or elseware soon!!
By the way, me thinks, Laloo should take advantage of the situation and put in some express trains from other metros to banglore.
