The ice refereed to in the caption is invariably thin ice which will collapse in record time , swallowing Indian diplomacy and magnanimous posturing to create illusory goodwill. The rationale and raison-de-etre behind the states of Pakistan and Bangladesh are anti-Indianism . They define their nationhood in terms of their depth of hatred and opposition to still Hindu-dominated India . Had India been a Muslim majority country these rogue states dominated overwhelmingly by Muslims would never have persisted in their opposition . Plagued by secularist affliction our backboneless and vote-crazy politicians either fail to gauge the reality or pretend there is no problem. The same afflication had led to the collapse of all great ancient civilisations in the past . Will Durant , one of the greatest historians of twentieth century had perceptively summed up the woes of mother India when he had observed in his History of Civilizations (Volume-II):- ' The Mohammedan conquest of India is the bloodiest story in History, a discouraging tale . Its evident morale is that the delicate fabric of a civilisation and its order peace, culture and stability may overthrown by barbarians invading from without or multiplying within'. At present barbarians have been persistently invading India form without while their brethren and co-religionists have been multiplying within simply because India is still Hindu.
