People from abroad came and adopted its culture and settled down here. India asimalated all the cultures. The Aryans, turks, etc. came and settled here. At the time of partition muslims of this country have option to move to Pakistan, but their ancesters opted India because they love it.The framers of the constitution know this fact very well.Therefore, they declare India a secular, democratic republic rather than a Hindu State, and gave equal rights to all citizens irrespective of their religion, caste, colour,and blace of birth.
