the PDP's duplicity in trying to hunt with hounds and run with hare has been exposed. I understand that effigies of PDP leaders- Mohammad. Mufti Sayed and others is being burnt in the streets of Srinagar. So where does the question come in, of the governor communalising this thing?

Gen S K Sinha: If it is a victory, it is a victory of secessionists, fundamentalists and anti-national forces and the defeat of the silent majority of the moderate Muslims in Kashmir who cannot open their mouth for fear of terrorist attacks. I maintain that the clash is not between Hindus and Muslims as such. It’s not a communal divide.
