In continuation with the above: Telugu has a rich history of folk songs and activities; but you rarely see them now. Telugu also has a rich linguistic history, but nobody seems to read the classics; they seem to prefer trash nowadays. Burrakatha and Bommalata are very rarely seen in AP itself, forget the US. When I was a child, I have seen many all night "mythological" dramas where characters sing and say their lines. That requires plenty of dedication. Where are the arts now?
