Muslim league also existed before independence. Muslims have rioted with guess who Parsis first and then with Hindus.
Jinnah threatened "Direct Action" against non-Muslims to get Pakistan. In fact Muslim League was engaged in brutal killings and riots of Hindus before and after partition.
Almost all Hindus from Pakistan were thrown out where as a sizeable section of Muslims lived and prospered in India.
you need to get your facts right and stop blaming others. The so called Hindu extremism started only after the policy of Muslim appeasement crossed all limits and it looked like the Congress was almost incapable or did not want to deal with the problems of growing religious rift in India as well as the growing Pakistani menace of terrorism in Kashmir and later entire India, which was to a certain extent supported by some Muslims in India.
