- Solar , wind are still alternate sources. They are not yet the main source of energy.
Because of change in weather pattern, places where we used to get good sunlight, have suddenly become wet.And transporting energy from desert to the major habitats is quite expensive.
Wind mills are still marginal. Many wind mills have become non-functional just after few years. So truly not reliable. May be if manufacturers and distributors team up, there could be some changes. But you must remember whatever improvements you see in Wind Power sector, it is mainly due to "Tax Benefits". That's why film stars and politicians are putting money into wind mills. The moment the tax sop goes, the magic too will be gone. This kind of decisions should be based on facts and numbers.
And I am sure you will not find a better trio than MMS,PC and Montek as far as number crunching goes.
