RE:farmers and inflation
by galilio on Jul 07, 2008 04:47 PM

australian wheat board set up trading shop in all major indian cities by 2005 mid to trade locally indian wheat wiped out all local traders
with direct procurement from farmers through officers by paying very high prices much higher
than minimum support prices fixed by government.
australian wheat board bought 2 million tonnes
in local mandies and stored and increase the prices of its selling prices at par with australian wheat and started supplying to wheat flour millers.this resulted in higher prices of
maida, atta, rava, suji ect compared to the prices
prevailing during NDA GOVT. In order to help this multinationals, upa govt allowed future trading commodities exchange and brought 143 items as trading in papers.so all prices went up
and we people suffer since UPA govt came to rule us.BJP did not permit multinationals in commodities trading and local warehousing but
congress permitted all multinationals to eat away profits at the cost of killing common people.
