More or less agree with KS. One point to remember about Left's strategy is to foment a Breakaway group form Congress to strengthen third front which thus far remained a sine qua non for any non-congress govt installation at the centre. Dimitrov, Stalin, Mao all theorized united front to garner strength. China will exhilarate because India's burgeoning soft power will face a jolt, the Pakis will celebrate because of a sense of rivalry and overjealousness. We just need to respond to the Call of the Time which entails a productive and mutually beneficial relationship with the US where we send 80000 students each year for the quest of knowledge or pursuing better career options. For many successful Indians, US is the surrogate mother who want to contribute to the progress of their Biological mother, INDIA. Indo-US relation is an offshoot of history which needs to be nurtured with care and love. It can be squandered away only to halt progress in a defined space and time. The deal is not US-centric, this will champion India's ascendancy towards the top echelon of world power. In a post-sanction scenario India will enable to either buy or sell dual-level technologies at a global scale. This is not a golden key to progress but certainly the deal will offer manyfold opportunities which as expected will transcend political boundaries, unfortunately, blind ideology and petty political considerations prevailed. Lets hope finally the deal sees light at the end of the tunnel.
