Mumbai Spirit by Amit sanam1926@rediffmail
by Amit Morajkar on Feb 13, 2008 10:49 PM

In all the adversity and tension that surmounted the city in the evening taking on roads was feared by all. stone pelting , shops closing down , employees asked to return home - only added to the tension. employees were scared to step out for the fear of being hit or faced by a mob. This fear was felt by all - north Indian or Marathi. and in this hour when trusting others goes for a toss Sanvie Morajkar showed great courage. A security gaurd , north Indian was scared to the pit of taking on the roads when news spread like fire that there's tension in the city. Sanvie , Marathi Mulgi , chose to drop this guard home safely. True Mumbai spirit. She not only showed grit but also gave this man and many such others a ray of hope that all's not over. God bless people like Sanvie who show that we are humans first - gods son first then something else. We salute you Sanvie.
