I strongly recommend that temples administration is delegated to center rather than wresting the responsibility with cash strapped state governments. Also a central security force akin to industrial security force or CRPF is to be formed to guard temples in our country. Such stampedes can be avoided if the central government can improve facilities at these temples. There are also some other issues such as unauthorized occupation of temple lands and properties. If central government cannot monitor security at these temples, let them give enough powers to temple management bodies to safe guard both piulgrims and temple properties.
