Have you been to Egypt? I have. I have also followed information about how poorly off the Coptics are. They are not only scorned but also attacked and have lived in fear over the centuries. But also, as Islam becomes older and purer in these lands it become more intolerant. When Egypt was being converted, they still retained some paganism and so the coptics fell through that crack and survived. Many of them want to migrate to the West. There is a terrible fear that grips non-muslims in muslim lands of persecution and death. It is not about discrimination that Indian muslims sometimes might feel but much much worse.

Look what the Arab janjaweed is doing to the dark-skinned Africans in Sudan/Darfur. See what the Sunni extemists are doing to christians in Iraq - many have been killed or attacked or frightened away.

India faced all this a few hundred years ago and Hindus were carriesdaway as slaves over the Hindu kush - how do you think that name came about?
