amitabh is definitely THE superstar of bollywood, no doubt abt that. but he has endured more than his share of sycophancy. of course, he was a very good entertainer, just like rajni or shah rukh. but he is in no way a GREAT ACTOR as he has been hyped up by the media. Big B has a long way to go to be included in the same league of extraordinary gentlemen like kamal haasan, naseeruddin shah or mohanlal, who have dozens of performance oriented roles over 3 decades than doing entertaining roles.
