We often tend to mistake roles for performances. A strong role is often confused with great acting. Shahrukh Khan is grossly over rated. He hams and gets awards aplenty for his hamming. He arguably is the most over rated. he gets awards for the kind of things normal actors are expected to do. Again look at the manner in which people raved of his loud performance in Devdas, OSO etc. Another over rated actor is Rani Mukherjee She is given an award for Black!!
