the old marathi black & movies were really very good. i remember having seen quite a few on doordarshan as a kid growing up but over the years they lost it due to cheap comedies. actually, that yeda dada kondke was partly responsible for the beginning of end of meaningful marathi cinema. i fully believe in the capabilities of the marathi folks in the field of art and cinema. god bless them with great writers directors to make good meaningful cinema and restore their past glory which was very desserving.
