Mahabharat in 9x

The epics like Mahabharat, Raamayan and Srimadbhagavatam do not need to be marketed because the contents of these epics are eternally powerful truths that humanity needs to understand and evolve itself to match the virtues of the individuals like Vasista, Viswamitra, Raama, Bharata, Krishna, Bhishma, Yudhishtara, Pareekshit and the list goes on...

I was stunned to see in the first episode of Ektaa Kapoor's Mahabharat the ghastly humiliation of Droupadi and her modesty. The logic applied by Sage Veda Vyasa to narrate the story of Mahabharat in a sequence is rooted in the process, the science and art of evolution of human beings. Ignoring this is nothing but showcasing the ignorance of its producers.
No wonder if some one produces Srimad Bhaavatam they can even twist the timelines!! Ektaa Kapoor is surre going to leave a stigma in the history of TV productions by her recent production based on Mahabharat. Unfortunately no decendents of Sage Veda Vyasa are now available to sue Ektaa Kapoor so she can as well indulge in her so called creative acts to twist the Epic to suit to her commercial formula. But she remains responsible for the damage that is being done to the characters in Mahabharat and thereby the impact she creats on the young generation which is - for the first time - watching the Epic as her TV production.
