Right now everyone's focused on "oh! Heath. He's dead. What are we going to do now?" but the real tragedy of the whole thing is that his daughter won't remember her daddy in 2 years. In 5 years she'll be hoping that something she remembers was really with her dad but it turns out not to be. And down the road? When she graduates from high school, gets married, graduates from college, and has kids of her own... Daddy won't be there. And even though she may get a new Daddy, it won't be the same and she'll wonder what he would say or do. And that's what breaks my heart. That a child should have to go through that.
