Ms Jaya Bachchan and others quite laughingly said that they would only tak in hindi and maharashtrians should excuse them for this; this was not just a light-hearted comment but one made with casual arrogance - of those who have attained superstardom and a status beyond the call of a citizen's basic regard for the land in which he/she is based. Being proud of being a UP-person is okay so far as being so does not make her feel that others especially maharashrians are inferior. If i am not wrong, her laughing comments resulted in more laughter from those present presumably priyanka chopra and others all of whom should bear it in mind that we Maharashtrians do not take lightly to such arrogance. If they make a laughing matter of the Maharashtrian spirit, they can't expect to Maharashtrians to sit back and suffer in silence. We have felt the insult and all those who insult us would get what befits them. I strongly condemn not just her words so casually uttered but, her overall manner and uptightness in treating the Maharashtrian sentiments like trash to be walked over. ALL OF US MUST UNITE AND GIVE THESE BHAIYYAS A RESOUNDING SLAP ACROSS THEIR ARROGANT FACES. THEN ONLY WOULD THE LIKES OF AMAR SINGH AND JAYA BACHCHAN THICK TWICE BEFORE THEY EVEN LOOK UP TO LOOK EYE-TO-EYE AT ANY MAHARASHTRIAN
